Taking advantage of Sanlucar's proximity to the ocean and the prevailing western winds ('Poniente') this is a very fresh, clean and intense Manzanilla. It has intense notes of olive brine, sourdough, blanched almonds and dried citrus peel. It is perfect to be drunk chilled on a hot day, or paired with anything fried, like tapas and seafood. A delicious aperitif.
Although Barbadillo’s history dates back to 1821, the brand Solear was created in 1938 and is one of the biggest selling brands of Manzanilla in Spain.
