TASTING NOTES
A beautiful present nose of dried citrus peel, flinty smoke and nut butter. This opens up to a creamy and weighty palate that continues the flinty notes, with some golden apple and lemon. A wine that will develop over time!

Black Bank Hill is a vineyard and craft winery in the Lincoln Lakeshore sub-appellation of the Niagara Escarpment wine region. We are focused on producing unique and evocative wines that reveal the quality and purity of the fruit grown in our cool climate.
100% Foxcroft single-vineyard Chardonnay, whole-bunch pressed, fermented with natural yeasts, and 18-months élevage in 2/3 neutral and 1/3 new 228L French oak barrels. From the same 2 rows of Foxcroft as the 2018 release, showing a consistent quality and class, but with higher concentration, acidity, and citrus-focused fruit profile due to the vintage.
