Garnacha Tintorera, also known as Alicante Bouschet, is the primary grape in Albahra. It is a hybrid of the Garnacha and Petit Bouschet grapes. It is one of the few red grapes with dark coloured ﬂesh, hence the name Tintorera.
Fermented and aged in concrete, lovely aromas of raspberries, heather, sage and citrus with white pepper and savoury accents and hints of minerality. Medium weight with pronounced acidity.
