Eric Rodez - Blanc de Noirs, Ambonnay, Brut, Champagne
This champagne has a bright gold colour. The powerful nose is marked by red fruits with hints of dried and candied fruit. The palate is powerful, very structured & fresh.
Made only from Pinot Noir and a terroir that express power and length. 70% of the wine does not undergo malolactic fermentation. As with blanc de blancs, this blanc de noirs is made from 5 to 6 vintages vinified in 70% in small barrels.
The Rodez family has been making wine since 1757. The estate is located in the village of Ambonnay and they have 6 hectares. Rodrez uses practices taken with him from former oenology work with Krug.
