Ferdinando Principiano Langhe Bianco (2019)

RARE grape alert. Like so many once prevalent grape varieties in Europe, Timorasso was lost to the ravages of phylloxera and growers who chose vines that were more reliable to work with. 

Cue the rediscovery and replanting of this beautiful Piedmontese white variety  - albeit in tiny quantities. This is a rare, rare wine in Italy, let alone Ontario.

Fleshy white-melon, tense citrus edginess with herbaceous and funky white-floral aromatics.
