Fletcher - Nebbiolo d'Alba, Piemonte, Italy (2020)

100% Nebbiolo, sourced from 2 vineyards in Roero and close to Alba in Scaparone. In addition to his own project, Dave Fletcher is the winemaker at famous producer Cerrato.

The wine is aged in wood to soften the tannins, resulting in a very elegant wine with red fruits and floral notes. Light and juicy, but the earthy and herbal notes give this wine plenty of depth and a long finish. It is a great expression of the variety, that does not require extended ageing but can be enjoyed now.
