Fourth Wall - Pinot Gris, Niagara (2020)
The warmth of Niagara's 2020 is on display with white peach, apple crumble, honey-glazed pineapple, honeydew melon and brioche. Texturally rich yet palpably fresh.
With 10% old oak during the aging process, the 2020 is a little more generous on the palate than the 2019...a lovely crowd pleaser and versatile wine.
Former Toronto sommelier Joel Wilcox worked with Riverview Cellars Estate Winery to create this wine from its vineyard along the Niagara River: a half acre plot, planted in 2004, at the back-end of the property on a patch of sandy loam backing onto Concession 1.
