Harvested by hand. Maceration for 2 weeks, fermentation in stainless steel tanks before ageing in concrete tanks on fine lees during 6 months. No fining, light filtration. Low sulphur.
White pepper notes, and a delicate spicy flavours, fresh and crispy with red fruits and raspberry fragrance. On the palate this is medium bodied with earthy red berries and strawberries. This is a very likable spicy and savoury red wine, made from the rare Pineau d'Aunis!
Perfect with charcuterie, during a barbecue or with spicy Asian style dishes.
Drink now or in the next 3-4 years with a slight chill, 12 to 14 degrees C.
