TASTING NOTES

100% Rolle (aka Vermentino) from limestone soil. Fermented in 3000 litre stainless steel tanks, this is fresh, textured and delicate wine. Very saline with fresh acidity and crisp, perfect for the summer.

One of the best value wineries coming out of France right now. Located in Cabardès, an appellation in the Languedoc affected almost equally by both Mediterranean and Atlantic weather systems, the wines of Maison Ventenac always display a lovely tension between fairly well defined, but broad fruit and acidity.
