TASTING NOTES
Bright ruby in colour, the wine opens with aromas of red cherries, red berries and floral nuances. Elegant and showing intense fruit purity on the palate. It is well-balanced and generous with well integrated, smooth tannins having aged in French oak for 10 months. This is a very precise wine delivering great value and regional charm.
Drinking well now, it will cellar for two to three years.

Thibaut Marion is a 10th generation winegrower, beginning his career with the family's Domaine Chanson Père et Fils (est'd 1750). Following the sale of Chanson to Bollinger, Thibaut began acquiring vineyards, primarily in Savigny-Les-Beaune and Beaune. At the same time, in 2004, Thibaut purchased the historic Seguin Manuel cellars in Beaune, founded in 1824.
Over the past 15 years, Thibaut Marion has restored and rejuvenated this winery, and increased the Domaine to 8.5 ha in Savigny-Les-Beaune, Beaune, Puligny-Montrachet, Pommard, Meursault and Vosne-Romanée. He bottles these wines under “Domaine Seguin-Manuel,” indicating the top-most tier of both quality. In addition, Seguin-Manuel crafts an extensive selection of négociant wines from purchased fruit and rented vineyards. These are indicated as “Seguin-Manuel” on the labels.
All of the Domaine's vineyards are certified organic (since 2015), and Thibaut's work embraces a minimalist approach – hand harvesting and sorting, light filtration, minimal sulphur additions, delicate use of oak.
