TASTING NOTES

A fresh, juicy red with raspberry, currant, citrus peel and stone aromas and flavours. Spicy and earthy on the palate with fine tannins, some minerality and a red-fruit-laden finish. 

Biodynamically certified. Grapes are hand-picked and sorted. Fermented in open topped vats using indigenous yeast and aged for 12 months in concrete.

The family settled in the area in the 14^th century with the current winery built in 1370. However, it was not until 2011 that this appellation within Tuscany received DOC certification.
