TASTING NOTES
A typical rich, lush velvety California Cab with blackberries and cassis but some fresh herbal notes provide lift. Ripe, sweet tannins and a touch of toasted oak, roast coffee, chocolate, campfire, sandalwood and tobacco line the finish.

Sustainably grown, Central Valley grapes were cold soaked for 4-5 days, then pressed and fermented in stainless steel. Aging took place over 10 months in a combination of French and American oak (approximately 20% new oak).
Freelander is the result of a partnership between Mike O’Connell and renowned winemaker Larry Levin, who is known for his three decades of winemaking experience in Napa with Icon Estates brands such as Robert Mondavi, Estancia, Ravenswood, Quintessa and Ruffino.
