TASTING NOTES
The nose shows spicy black cherry, plum and red currants supported by hints of baking spices and sandalwood. The palate is medium bodied with ripe fruit yet refreshing acidity and a soft velvet feel that makes the wine supremely drinkable. The tannins are quite full giving this wine a lovely serious structure.

The vines sit at 290 metres on medium textured soil, clay-sand with 3,500 vines per ha. The yield is 55 hl-ha. Grapes are hand-picked and fully destemmed. After crushing, fermentation takes place in concrete tanks and then spends 12 months on fine lees. After a year, the wine goes into 24hl Slavonian botti where it spends an additional 12 months.
Silvano and his family are committed to the autochthonous grapes of the Marche.
