TASTING NOTES
A fruit bomb of blue and dark berries, cedar, fresh rosemary and thyme and a wet clay minerality. Lots of fine grippy tannin as to be expected from this variety but the juicy acids keep them in balance making this wine a pleasure to quaff.

Organic certification began in 2019. The area is at 450 meters above sea level and is breezy with a soil of sand and marls with a prevalence of the latter from the Lequio Formation- Serravallian/early Tortonian. Vine density 5,000 rootstocks/ha with a yield 7000 kg/ha. The grapes are picked by hand and are immediately sent to the winery. After macerating for 6-8 days, the wine undergoes malolactic fermentation to then age in stainless steel vats for around eight months. The wine ages a short period in the bottle before sale.
