Boffa - Nebbiolo, Langhe, Piedmont, Italy (2021)
TASTING NOTES
Barbaresco-esque - pretty, floral and silky. This is a dynamite, energetic and tense expression of Nebbiolo with textbook notes of macerated cherry, pine, menthol, licorice, dried rose petal. The finish is a little spicy with lovely orange zest.

Chritian Boffa is a "brand" new, super exciting producer based in La Morra. While the estate has been in the family for generations, until recently, they had mostly farmed and then sold their grapes to Barolo powerhouse, Odderro. Now Christian is defining his family's identity on his own - and this is without doubt a producer to watch as his already exquisite winemaking continues to evolve.
