TASTING NOTES
A beautiful wine. Floral and dynamic on the nose. Chocolate, herbs, plum fruit, wet earth and an intriguing velvety texture owing to aging in terracotta amphorae. A serious core of acidity (from the limestone soils) brightens up the palate and makes this effortlessly drinkable and can age for another 10 years.

The Château Pré la Lande has been producing a wine since 1860 from the slope of a hill situated at 120 metres, one of the peaks in Gironde. The natural slopes guarantee a good drainage and the proximity of the Dordogne river a mild climate.
The designation Sainte-Foy Bordeaux, renamed Sainte-Foy Côtes de Bordeaux in 2016, is one of the oldest in Gironde with a decree published in 1937. The clay-limestone slopes produce wines with expressive nose, deep colour and strong character. In deed, Sainte-Foy is one of only two right bank appellations with limestone dominant soils.
