TASTING NOTES
Light, chillable red with a nose of white pepper and juicy, crunchy cranberry. Fresh and vibrant on the palate with a touch of spiciness. This is a little bit saline and savoury.

Planted about sixty years ago, the vineyard is located on a hillside at an elevation of 300 metres with clay-limestone soil.
The character of Jurançon noir can be very rustic. To preserve the freshness and crispness of the fruit, the maceration time is limited to 24 to 48 hours depending on the vintage and the winemaking conditions. Destemmed, spontaneous fermentation in concrete - natural malolactic, no fining or filtering. Bottled in spring.
The 2021 vintage was very difficult with April frost and lower summer temperatures and a lot of rain.
