TASTING NOTES
Round and open with a mineral and salty finish, the Pescio can be likened to a Chardonnay with a delicious, breezy maritime quality. With a range of ripe, yellow fruit, notes of Mediterranean garrigue and hints of mushroom, concentration in flavour and cooling acidity, this is a delicious, food-friendly dry white wine.

Grapes are harvested by hand from dry-farmed, south-facing vineyards in Asturias. Albarín Blanco is 100% destemmed and fermented spontaneously with native yeast in oak barrels. The Pescio is aged for 15 to 18 months in demi-muid.
Dominio del Urogallo was founded by Nicolas Marcos in 2011 with 14 hectares of old vines grown at 350-700 metres on steep slopes of slate and quartz near the local parish of Cangas del Narcea. Pésico is the name of a tribe which inhabited the Cangas valley in early Christian times.
