Fine Balance x Bossanova "Proeflokaal" Koyt

TASTING NOTES

Full-bodied, with a balance of creamy oats and European hops, this is an historic Dutch style of Pale Ale, once enjoyed across Northern Europe. 

Brewed according to an historical recipe, introduced to Canada by Bossanova's own Beer Steward, this is a style of beer that was popular across Northern Europe for centuries, before less expensive Lagers emerged.  In recent years it's started to regain standing in The Netherlands, and occasionally shows up in the "specialty beer" category of major brewing competitions elsewhere.
