TASTING NOTES

A high acid red full of character and vibrancy. Notes of raspberry and black cherry, followed by hints of wild herbs and a crisp finish. 

 Boca is an historic wine region in Piedmont that was nearly abandoned until Christoph Künzli recognized its potential and started the Le Piane winery in the late 1990's. 

Le Piane's winemaking philosophy is rooted in traditional and sustainable practices. The vineyards are cultivated organically, and the grapes are harvested by hand. The winery employs traditional winemaking techniques, including extended maceration and aging in large oak barrels, to craft wines that reflect the unique terroir of the Boca region.

Le Piane's wines have gained recognition and praise from wine enthusiasts and critics worldwide. The wines often exhibit characteristics of dark fruits, botanicals, earthiness, and well-integrated tannins. They have the potential to age gracefully and develop further complexity over time.
