TASTING NOTES
Native to the region, Marzemino is ruby red with hints of violet. Notes of pomegranate, mulberry, tart blackberry and wild blueberry. Purple flowers, green herbs and bell pepper. This wine is fresh and juicy with soft, supple tannins. Think Beaujolais with a bit of oomph.

Along the Adige river in the tiny DOC of Valdadige ‘Terra dei Forte’, land of forts, Roberta alongside her sister Cristina and brother Giuseppe, created Roberta Fugatti Winery, the sister winery to the beloved Azienda Agricola Roeno, founded by their father Rolando over half a century ago.
Roberta Fugatti focuses on rare native grapes, producing single varietal wines in the middle of two mountain systems. Biodiversity preservation is an integral part of the vineyard showing a pure expression of native grapes and the unique terroir of Terradeiforte.
Roberta Fugatti uses green manure, no chemical treatments and no pesticides, dedicated to their land and the traditions surrounding.
Shaped by glaciers during the quaternary era, this narrow valley with steep hills provides a heterogeneous climate. Cool winters and warm summers, lake wind and the diurnal shift provide ultimate growing conditions while the diverse soils of the sandy river banks, clay valley soil and gravelly fossil rich mountain slopes create a great home for their vines. The grapes are destemmed and softly crushed. Fermentation occurs with skin contact maceration in stainless steel tanks under temperature control. Pumping over cycle are adopted in order to extract color and aroma from the grape skins. Maturation takes place in stainless steel tanks in order to preserve varietal fruity aromas.
