Classic Nerello Mascalese from Etna’s north, blended with a small share of indigenous reds. Vines between 50 and 120 years old in Crasà and Calderara Sottana. Fermented naturally in large oak vats with 3-4 weeks macerations and aged a year in cement.
SRC’s story only began in 2012 —remarkably recent for a region steeped in centuries of winemaking tradition. With no family history in the craft, they represent a new wave of Etna producers who have emerged as the volcano’s vineyards have multiplied over the last two decades.
The name SRC comes from the initials of its founders—Rori, Cinzia, and their daughter Sandra—a symbol of family and a shared passion for their land. The journey began in Randazzo when Rori bought a small vineyard as a gift for Cinzia, who immediately fell in love with it. From that first plot, their estate grew to 12 hectares of biodynamically farmed vineyards.
