Oude Gueuze Tilquin a l'Ancienne
A spontaneously fermented beer obtained from the blending of 1, 2 and 3 years old lambics. Unfiltered and unpasteurized, it's re-fermented in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months. The lambics are made from wort brewed by Boon, Lindemans, Girardin and Cantillon, fermented and matured in Tilquin's own oak barrels.
It has a fresh lemony nose. The taste is tart and dry, maintaining a slight bitterness from the young oak barrels., which continue to release some tannins.
