TASTING NOTES
Red berries, oak spiced and savoury. A chillable (or not!) red with a light tannic grip, herbs, fennel and juiciness on a long finish.

Harvested in late October from the Wingfield Vineyard from vines approaching 28 years. Fermented on skins for 10 days with punchdowns. Pressed and put to barrel, a mix of 45% new French and Hungarian oak barrels and 55% neutral oak (78% French and 22% Hungarian overall). Aged for three years to increase concentration and tannin.
Bottled unfined and with an addition of lees for mouthfeel and body.
